VBS - Church Picnic
August 27, 2006 at Camp Petosega

Trinity's hand-clapping, foot-stomping rhythm generated a little square-dancing in the back of the dining hall. Two led to four, then four led to -- well, you know. The kids had a whoppin' good time!(That's Kailin and Yolanda doing a do-se-do. )

VBS J-Force members singing the J-Force Anthem -- with gusto!!

This fish fry-potluck luncheon was the best temporary eatery in all of North America that afternoon. One of the fish-fryer guys came through the kitchen saying he had never seen a spread like that before.

    He was absolutely right.

(Load up there, George.)

       Looks like Jake is doing
some chewing on Grandma's thumb --and she's lovin' it!
A little pre-baptismal swimming.

Justin and Billie are ready to be washed in the Blood of the Lamb.
Baptism is a wonderful moment --even for onlookers.

Alanson Church of the Nazarene was also planning a Baptism service for August 27th,
so they joined their Petoseky brethren and sisteren.
Rev. Brantley and Rev. Carr both plowed out into the water with eager lambs in tow.

OK -- who's first?

Sister Billie, let's go!

At last, at last.

Here's a new-washed lamb!

Justin is next.

Down goes the old man.

Justin's body language says it all.
Hallelujah!!
